FAQ's

Is paintballing safe?

Yes - Paintballing is a very safe sport in comparison to many other action and adrenaline sports. Our marshalling staff take every measure necessary to ensure each individual's safety, and we only use the highest quality paintball guns and equipment.
Paintball Portsmouth adheres to the strictest safety guidelines as laid out by the UKPBA - United Kingdom Paintball Association.

What is the minimum age?

11 years of age. Young players are carefully supervised throughout the day, by adult marshalling staff. Where possible, adults and children play separately.

What happens on the day?

On arrival you will be greeted by our friendly marshalling staff, who will help you through registration and collecting your equipment. Whilst enjoying complimentary refreshments you will be treated to an introduction to paintball and a safety speech. Then the action begins!

What should we bring?

Loose fitting, comfortable old clothes with sensible shoes like trainers or lightweight boots. A thin or fingerless pair of gloves is useful, but not essential. ( Paintball gloves are available to purchase on the day).

How many people do we need for a paintball game?

We welcome groups as well as individuals, so any number of people can come along, however, teams are made up on the day of around 20 people, so...

• Individuals and small groups are joined together.
• You can bring enough people for a whole team.
• 40 or more and you can have your own private
  paintball party - birthday, stag party or corporate/ office paintball event .

What time do we start?

Arrival time is 9.15am prompt. (Half day is 12.00pm) The day ends around 4. 00pm.

How much does it cost for extra paintball rounds?

Our paintballs cost just £6.00 per 100 in small quantities or £5.00 per 100 when you buy a bulk box of 2500 paintballs , (competitors can charge up to £15.00 per 100).

Can we buy food on site?

A BBQ lunch is available to be purchased on the day of your event, including hamburgers, hotdogs, freshly baked rolls and salad. Vegetarians and specific needs can be catered for with prior arrangement. Free tea and coffee is available throughout the day.

Will we be put up against a group of Rambos?

Absolutely not! At Paintball Portsmouth , (we can't vouch for other UK paintball venues) the majority of our customers are corporate or young people or first timers and everyone is there for a good laugh and a memorable day out. Players will be grouped together according to age group.

< strong>What if the weather is bad?

That's the beauty of paintball – you can play in any type of weather. Rain or snow just makes the game a little more ‘interesting'!!

How can I promote the day?

Paintball posters and notice board flyers can be posted to you to raise awareness and drum up support. This is particularly useful when promoting a team-outing corporate paintball day or a large private paintball party .

Are you fully insured?

Yes, all customers are fully covered by our comprehensive Public Liability Paintball Insurance.

Do you offer discounts for large groups?

Please call us to discuss your paintball event and we will be happy to discuss various options with you. W e offer the lowest prices guaranteed, and will match or better any other genuine paintball offer.

What clothing do you provide and does it fit all sizes?

Our freshly laundered purpose-made ninja suits cover all sizes from small to XXXL.
